PAT Isn’t Standing Pat

“Everyone is talking about PAT this and PAT that but how is some new FDA initiative going to make my life easier?”

The FDA’s Process Analytical Technology initiative focuses on how manufacturers of pharmaceuticals can look to process changes to increase efficiencies and reduce costs. This is a far cry from the “validate it and freeze everything around it” methodology of recent times where innovation was hard to do. So, how can new analyzers available on the market help pharmaceutical manufacturers work better and smarter? Some of those answers can be found in an article published in Chemical Processing magazine titled, “PAT isn’t standing pat (1,754KB PDF).” There you can learn about a new Emerson wireless monitor that can alert you to possible piping system issues.
