Job Title: Principal Software Engineer – Operations Environment
Minimum Education Qualifications: BS Engineering or Computer Science or graduate degree plus 5 years of related experience required.
Brief Description of Duties/Minimum Requirements: This position is based in Austin, Texas.
The candidate will be part of the DeltaV Software Development team in the Operations Environment group. Their primary responsibility will be developing user interface software for existing and future DeltaV products. In addition, they will be responsible for development related to internationalization of DeltaV system releases. Software will be written using several languages, including C++, Visual Basic, and C#. Position responsibilities include project generation of use cases and designs in accordance with requirements and specifications, code development, unit testing, and system testing.
Candidate must have experience in software development, specifically user interface software in the Microsoft Windows environment. Experience in C++ and Visual Basic desirable.
